Ramadan July-August 2012
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Action Care conducted 11 Iftar events for orphans, individuals with special needs and underprivileged children and families throughout the UAE.
Over 500 beneficiaries enjoyed an evening of games, drama, art activities, facepainting, balloons,delicious food, and gifts. This year’s highlight was a Ramadan-themed play titled “The Three Empty Sacks”. The drama was accompanied by an exciting and interactive art competition.
Many thanks to the many sponsors and volunteers who made these events possible and gave hundreds of children a memorable Ramadan.
I learned that anyone can make the world a better place and can make a difference. Now I feel confident that I can make a difference, and after I finish school I'm going to volunteer and try to make a difference myself. I'd like to thank the MOVE Program, because this program improves us, it improves our school and makes it a better place.
